Processing Your Samples Just Got Easier with This New Positive Pressure Manifold
Introducing Presston™ 1000, the new and improved way to process 96-well plates. This brand new pneumatic positive pressure manifold means less manual work required for every day processing. It will make it easier than ever to get consistent flow rates at a low pressure, even while utilizing the low-pressure fine adjustment tool. Optimizing flow rates for load and elution steps can have a large impact on extraction methods, and positive pressure can help impact one less method.
Get those reliable flow rates! With a positive pressure manifold, the rate of inconsistent flow rates is reduced by offering a better and more accurate solution for well-to-well flow rates. Since the pressure is applied from above, the flow rate would not change if a well clears early, as it does in vacuum manifold processing. This ensures that a more consistent flow rate is applied to the samples during processing time, providing less variation between wells.
Want to make your safety department even happier? In addition to Presston 1000’s advantageous design to maneuver the manifold shield, the pneumonic handling movement also has an added safety feature. Both hands are required for the manifold shield to move, which will make your safety department and your hands delighted! Even a warning label is displayed to prevent any unwanted hurt hands.
It’s a Match! Presston 1000 pairs with all standard 96-well plates, including microelution plates, and with the additional of a tabless tube holder (Part No.: AH0-9055) can process 1 mL tubes. Different manifold spacers are provided with the Presston to help fit diverse sizes of plates.
Covered from mayhem like…normal lab use. Phenomenex warrants that the Presston 1000 will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal installation, use, and maintenance for a period of 12 months following delivery.
